Comfy combo.

Photographs by dear mom : )

(Zara jumper, Monki dress, Bag courtesy of Joy & Peace, Forever 21 boots.)

Usually I wouldn’t put that much animal prints in one outfit, but somehow I found the two shades of leopard prints very chic-looking when put together. The Zara jumper makes a lovely contrast which I’m very pleased with. When it comes to bags, I have the feeling that I should always make a statement – not necessarily a brand statement cox I’m not too much of a brand person, but a visual statement. You guys remember me carrying a oversized clutch that’s bigger than my body, or a clutch with vivid prints that makes a centre piece itself. So my point is to always make a point with the bag – or else I would go with my camera bag for its functionality – which is unfortuately a common case.

This outfit is so very me. I feel most comfortable in loose-fitting tops and sheer flowy midi skirts – simply because in such combination I don’t have to worry about my body shape at all (That would be the typical buffet outfit according to my mom.) I mean, wearing something comfortable doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice style, work on the colurs and prints instead it would make a big difference – throw away your baggy black tops now, it doesn’t help anyone!

Stay comfy! : P

  2. I’m always so afraid of putting a loose top and bottom together, this look is really good though and very comfy. I’m still trying to come up with more outfits that are comfy but stylish, I guess we all have to pump it up with bags and accessories to glam them up a bit. :D Thankfully I don’t have any loose fitting black tops, but yes I do need more and more color :D

  8. the colour of the blue sweater makes such a lovely contrast with the earth tones of the animal print. and i agree, comfort and style can (i would even say it should) go hand in hand. :)

This reminds me of a photoshoot on UK vogue with Arizona Muse, the movement of the skirt is simply beautiful. I’m from HK too, it’s good to find a decent style blogger and not just another event goer. Keep it up!
